Dr Hilary Platts BSc (Hons) MB ChB DRCOG DFFP
graduated in 1982. Coming from Yorkshire via Leicester University
she has lived in Selsey since 1990 and loves being near the sea (as
does her dog). As well as her duties in the practice she works at
St Richards Hospital in the breast clinic and as a family planning
doctor in Bognor Regis where she trains other doctors.
She enjoys singing and can be seen performing with the "Off Centre" choir. She is married and gained two children with her husband so she knows about the trials, tribulations and joys of child rearing!
Dr Katherine Miller MB ChB MRCOG DRCOG DFFP.
Qualified in 1988 at Manchester University. She has worked in a
variety of locations in England including Blackpool and Penzance
and also two years in New Zealand. Having a preference for coastal
areas she settled in West Sussex in 1994 working as a GP and also
at St Richards Hospital in the Department of Sexual Health. She
joined the practice in 1996 and became a partner in 1999 whilst
still retaining her hospital position. She has a wide ranging
experience in all areas of medicine, especially women's and
children's health, including maternity and family planning. Dr
Miller was married in 1998, her husband being in the computer
business. Her many interests include travel, reading, swimming and
skiing. She is a keen walker, south coast weather permitting!
Dr Julian Moore BSc (Hons) MBBS MRCGP DRCOG DFFP
trained at Guy's and St. Thomas' medical school and qualified in
1998. He became a partner in 2003 following a wide variety of
hospital posts in the southern counties and in his native
Cambridgeshire, where he was latterly a GP Registrar in Saint Ives.
Despite this, he claims local roots, as many childhood holidays
were spent in his father's birthplace (Donnington). In the past he
has restored and operated steam locomotives, served in the
Territorial Army and worked with the Chichester Conservation
Volunteers. He lives with his wife Fiona and children Lucy and
Robert who keep him busy as an odd-job man, but he dreams of
long-distance walks and renewing an interest in sailing.
Dr Jennifer Fleetcroft - MB BS, MRCGP, DFFP, joined
the practice on the 4th August 2004. Dr Fleetcroft trained at St
George's Hospital, London and qualified in 1998. After this she
spent a few years working as a locum and a salaried GP in
Surrey.
